*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

I'm in the same boat. I took a risk buying it on PC given mine is like 9 years old (2500k, HD 7970 3GB.) I figured that if I can play all other current gen games without issue at 1080p (mix of settings), then it should be OK. I just hope CDPR have scaled the settings on PC well.

I'm running a 2700X and Vega 56, so hopefully not too bad, but obviously compared to a lot of people here it is.

Am I right in thinking you get the digital extras regardless of if you pre-order? Still a bit undecided and won't be able to play for a few days anyway, so may as well hold fire, but I hate missing out on extras!
You are. You do get extra extras if you buy on GOG (vs steam one assumes), posters, an extra comic, more wallpapers and additional avatars.
If you preorder (on GOG at least) you get a discount on Cyberpunk merch, no special extras for buying early.

I'll run Psycho on my setup and see how it handles it, at 1440p though and whatever RTX settings it has in game.

Digital Foundry's video today said the RTX features have a full on page of 5 categories for Ray Tracing. This game is by far the most comprehensive in the way RT is utilised so I imagine full whack settings on this page will only be possible on future generations of cards with beefeater RT cores, or many more tensor cores if DLSS is turned on.

I'll be happy if I can max RT settings at 2560x1080 though.

I love the idea of a game that can't yet run on max. Leaves some growing room, crysis style

You are brave :p

Want this game so bad but dont think my setup will run it very good :( my cpu will prob be the main thing that holds me back

Yeah I don't think its really an issue, seems good if there is headroom for a game to improve further in the future, though I guess some people get a bit upset if they have the latest and greatest but can't run something at max settings.

I'm waiting to next year when I can get a new processor. Would rather enjoy it on good settings
Im switching over to console gaming again as my main gaming when i get my ps5, will still game on pc but wasnt planning on upgrading anything for a while lol think i might wait until digital foundry do a more in depth review on settings etc before i buy to see if i will be able to play at 1080p high with rtx or 1440p high with low rtx

As longs as i can get around 60fps at either of those settings i would be happy :)
