*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Yeah I don't think its really an issue, seems good if there is headroom for a game to improve further in the future, though I guess some people get a bit upset if they have the latest and greatest but can't run something at max settings.

Yeah, I remember Doom 3 doing this. I got a new GFX card and couldn't run it on Ultra. It wasn't the greatest feeling!

Sorry if already posted, my friend just sent me this. Found it hilarious

Bit optimistic! :p

Yeah, like The Division 2 and it's unskippable warnings. The really boil my ****, just as much as those unskippable anti-piracy warning on movies you've actually bought.

Yeah, Division was the first game I thought of, but tbh if it means it helps other people I'm not going to get so angry over a few seconds.

I've been watching Sasha Grey

:o

20 quid? Ah gog russia still works?

SetupVPN is also a free extension for Chrome which many in this thread have used.

Interesting review. I think I will hold fire on buying this until it's fixed.

If you're going by a single review in this day and age then you shouldn't bother playing any video game.

I'm just going to use the GeForce Experience optimal settings.

Same, I find it does a decent job.

That's brilliant, I own SC and did buy a ship and the added extras 325A and the LC package plus SQ42, I won't play until I get at least 60fps, I do find that funny!

hehe yea, I own it too. Bought an ok ship for it but I have not touched it for ages. Cutlass Black (think that's the right name). It will come out one day hopefully :D

It will be my dream game if it does come out! I'm more eager for SQ42 if I'm honest, I don't get hoe some streamers sem to get decent frames, I've not asked what systems they have that it seems to run so well. I do remember seeing somewhere that SC can use more than 8 cores, but I might be chatting poop, not sure if true lol

Some of those bugs are pretty condemning and not likely things that just one reviewer might encounter doing something eccentric - though I've only skimmed the info so not sure if it is stuff fixed in the release patches or not.

I've currently got a 1070ti and a Samsung CHG9, I've also got a 3080 on pre-order here at OCUK (28th in the Palit OC queue). I originally said to myself that I'd wait until my 3080 arrives, but seeing as that might not be until next year now, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wait...

Should I wait an get the best initial impressions? Or act like an impatient child and just rip the damned box open already?

Yeah, but without the updated AMD/Nvidia drivers, day 0/1 patch and Denuvo these things aren't going to help matters. There will absolutely be bugs/glitches and some crashes but it isn't going to be as bad as what we're seeing from some people in the media.

Where is the best place to buy this?
Direct on steam? Saw some mention of freebies earlier in the thread although nothing on Steam. Did I miss out?

£20 via GoG using SetupVPN chrome extension and setting region to Russia.

It's playable in English as it has no DRM.

No, you didn't miss out on freebies, you can claim them whenever you buy the game even if it's 2 years down the line.

Are you suggesting that the media exaggerate and cherry pick for views?! I’m shocked!
:D
