*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Good god playing this in hdr now....

How can people even play on sdr now!?
An SDR picture looks so flat, Dull and boring but the downside of an HDR monitor is that i now hate playing any games that doesn't support HDR :(

Even the HDR on my OLED doesn't look bright enough anymore in so stuff after having HDR1000 on my PC monitor

Not had that issue with my 1080ti and the latest drivers.
I am on 1080p/60. A brief scan through the comments looks like a common theme is that issues might be with this card/driver and high refresh monitors.
That may explain it. I'm on 1440p at 144Hz. I just get a blank colour after a while. Scared me a bit!

I can tell playing this game is going to make me want to upgrade my kit.

The CPU probably should come first, but a HDR monitor would be sweet..
I just spent a small fortune buying a PG35VQ and i can already feel that i be buying this HDR1400 monitor when it comes out if the blacks are good enough :D

I also seen there some HDR 1600  monitors coming out (but don't think they were gaming ones)

What HDR settings are people using, cant quite get mine to look right
These are my HDR settings but every monitor/display will be different due to how many nits it supports
Plus i choose the sRGB setting
There mainly just the default settings as i haven't played around with them much

Plus of cause that picture looks nothing like that on my HDR screen, it has all the details and not blowed out with light
 HDR is working fine

Today on Night City walkabout we watch.... a man peeing

And then marvelled at Ray Traced reflections of a fat man waddling :D

And lastly, reason to turn off chromatic aberrations (left area):

Due to my in-laws moving house today, and my kids having kid activities (stupid kids) I won't get on this until Saturday evening. However, can people give me an idea of what sort of FPS to expect on the following hardware:

3440x1440p
Ryzen 5600x
RTX3070

If I have presets to high, RT on & DLSS to balanced, am I likely to see 60fps? Or am I about to regret not holding out for a 3080......

I have PG27UQ so very similar monitor to you and I feel with those settings HDR does not look right on dark/night scenes. Also those settings are the defaults :D

I found tone 1.5 looks much better at night but then daylight doesn't seem quite as bright but still looks like proper daylight. It's where I've landed so far. Still need to mess a bit.

Surely you can remap the buttons though?

Some of them yes, but not all. F which is used to pick up item, talk etc, can not be changed. Wanted it to be E but nope. Luckily for me my keyboardd (Steelseries Apex) has 4 keyboard profiles, so I made one for the game which switches F and E. Also, if you left handed and want to use the arrow keys. You can use Left and Right, but Up and Down arrows can not be mapped for some reason ! There is a big thread over at CDPR's forum about it. Hopefully they will be fixing it soon.

Erugh, must remember to never ever buy collectors editions from GAME. Still no sign :|

Damn, worse then for me. Although I did start with having it ordered from Game here but they closed all their shop in Scandinavia. Another chain got the privilege to sell them, and about 2 hours ago I got message that it finally have been picked up at least. See if it coming tomorrow or on Monday now. I do wish you good luck with yours !

Turn off film grain, depth of field, motion blur and chromatic aberration. They shouldn't on anyway. Then some have also noticed a significant boost by turning down or disabling Cascaded Shadow Resolution as well. That should get you closer to 60FPS. Oh and DLSS onto Performance rather than Auto.

Restarted my pc by accident because I spilt coke in my k70 keyboard and now I'm using a ****** temp one that has a power button. ahhhhh
