*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Restarted my pc by accident because I spilt coke in my k70 keyboard and now I'm using a ****** temp one that has a power button. ahhhhh

HAHAHAHAHA, no way, my wife spilt coffee on her K70 whilst playing CP2077!!!! Killed it, so she's had to bust out a **** temp keyboard and has had to order a replacement.

Is it even worth turning on HDR if your monitor is only HDR 400? I've tried it before just on desktop and it looks a mess...

The HDR was pretty awful on my Series X and CX OLED. Settings didn't seem to be able to improve matters. The darks were a murky grey green colour.

Attacking? I'm confused, everyone was talking about this feature for weeks and weeks in this thread so I was just curious about how it panned out... Similar to everyone wistfully dreaming of their Nomad life-path character cruising into the city for the first time... And what a massive game it would be with every building being freely accessible... Never before seen realistic NPC AI... It just seemed odd to me that nobody has talked about those things now that the game has come out?

If you feel attacked because I'm not praising the game you've so heavily invested yourself into then I think that says more about you than it does about me

Everyone talking about the genitalia in Cyberpunk, for weeks? Are we reading the same thread?

Wait.... I'm biting aren't I.... Why am I bothering? :D

Anyone got any advice to fix the crashing please?

Been so hyped for this game but since getting past the intro it keeps crashing to desktop every 20 minutes. I've played about 3.5 hours so far and really enjoying it but the crashing is driving me crazy.

I'm on RTX 2080 with latest drivers released today.
Latest version of windows 10

I've verified game files, turned off all overlay's in-game for Steam and Nvidia and I have no other apps running in back ground.

I've been searching internet, I can see lots of people having same issues but not finding any definitive solutions as of yet.

It's a shame you can't make a flappy bird. Beef curtains and all that. (I'm banned in 3...2...1... GO)
So sexist that there are two choices of knob with three sizes each but only one vag with no customisation. My wife wanted by dude to have a front bum, but I don't know just how far the impact of that will take me in game so played it safe with a massive uncut dong.

Also, I remember someone asking in here about the official game guide. I just picked up my pre order and it is BEEFY! A lot of information, tips and guides. I'm mainly keeping it as I do enjoy a good game guide for reading material. I just checked for a mission I did last night and it had multiple options of completing it. I won't be using it for my playthrough, more a reference for items and what have you. But I'll probably read through it after my first playthrough for inspiration on alternative builds.

Speaking of, how are people building their V's? I'm a bit all over right now, I've a couple of points in assault, 3/3 cold blooded for the perk points. As for attributes, I've got 6 tech, 3 body, 7 in reflexes, 8 in cool and 4 in intelligence. The way I've played so far, is guns blazing with breaching being my go to before it all turns south. Stealth is... ok? But I don't have any stealth weapons and I am thoroughly enjoying the gun play.

But I'm going to have to get some health, I'm playing on Hard and health drops fast if you're caught out of cover.

Wouldn't the things I'm asking about have to be fabricated for it to really be trolling though? People were so sure about all of this stuff and any attempt at saying "I doubt feature X will be that in-depth" was met with heavy backlash because the game wasn't out yet. Well it's out now, so I'm just asking what came of those features, that's all...

So much character customization yet you hardly see your character in game at all so to me it looks like wasted development time that could have gone towards fixing all the bugs

only getting average mid-high 40's 1440p with me nitro on high, even though oc'd to just over 1720mhz, 1090 memory, not sure if drop to 1080 ultra or drop to medium @1440p?? or will pushing cpu ectra 200mhz be worth it?

try playing around with AMD FidelityFX Static, i have an 5700xt 1440p ultra with AMD Fidelity at 75% havent noticed visual drop and gets me around 55-75fps

Probably get better help on the CDPR forum, but worth checking the basics:

Windows Event Viewer, see if any errors or odd events are showing up there around the time it crashes, or if a background process is interfering.

Try checking Services, or start > Run > MSConfig to see if there are any unnecessary services running that you can disable.

Also check if you've got a paging file set (Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Performance > Advanced > Virtual Memory). Most games like/require paging files, some don't, if in doubt, choose "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives". If it's already set like that, try disabling.

Are any components in your system overclocked?

Get in game before testing, I found the character creation to be blurry for some reason, it's not a representation of in game.
I actually backed out to the settings, thinking the game was running in a daft low resolution after loading the character creation screen. It really does look crap compared to the actual gameplay.

Turn off DLSS and the character screen looks normal.

Game runs fine at 1200p with a 3900X + 32GB RAM + 5700XT, only bug so far(5 hours in) is on the VR mission, could not get out of VR after mission, had to save then re-load. Fans do ramp up more than any other game.

Again, not sure why I'm bothering, and again, not sure we're reading the same thread. I didn't see anyone "sure" about anything in this thread (about an unreleased game), or any backlash against the utter speculation within, but I did enjoy watching a lot of excited, invested folks chatting about their anticipation of product they've been looking forward to, in many cases for years.

As always (and there's nothing wrong with this, it's an Internet Forum after all) there are a the usual complement who seem to take some kind of bizarre joy in trying to rain on everyone's parade. I just don't get that, but that's just me.

In this case, I think the parade is going along nicely, and no sign of rain for me, thanks!

Yeah the character creation part was blurry for me too, but once in game its a whole different story.
