*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Twitch streams were losing their minds and jumping by hundreds of viewers for that part. One female streamer put a male part temporarily on their female character body and the chat went all crazy like they've seen their first porn film.

For many viewing gamers it will have been the first genitals they've ever seen that werent their own :)

Anyone got any advice to fix the crashing please?

Been so hyped for this game but since getting past the intro it keeps crashing to desktop every 20 minutes. I've played about 3.5 hours so far and really enjoying it but the crashing is driving me crazy.

I'm on RTX 2080 with latest drivers released today.
Latest version of windows 10

I've verified game files, turned off all overlay's in-game for Steam and Nvidia and I have no other apps running in back ground.

I've been searching internet, I can see lots of people having same issues but not finding any definitive solutions as of yet.

I had it all night last night and again this morning, tried reducing CPU and GPU clocks nothing worked, finally reduced my memory and FCLK clock from 4000MHZ to 3800MHZ and that solved it, which is strange as it passes hours of prime95 blend, 8 hour memtest86 and TM5.

So what is best class to start with, Nomad, Street kid or Corpo, what everyone chouse.

One note on Nomad if you choose it, you're thrown into Night City a LOT faster than I thought. I was expecting to be out there for a good few hours, but essentially it's a couple small 'go here' missions, dialogue a bit then you're on rails and in the city within 30 minutes I'd say.

As far as I can make out, all of the 3 backstories have a ~30 minute prologue to give you an intro into their background before thrusting you into the main story line. The differences here on out are more to do with the characters progression and dialogue options.

Well on my ageing rig I am surprised that I have managed to get decent FPS at mixture of low/med/high settings. Have seen 'the internet' complaining about performance on top end rigs but its similar to Crysis and Kingdom Come Deliverance in that it's not supposed to be able to achieve top performance with top settings this gen. They have future proofed it. But even at low/medium settings i'm still fairly certain it is the best looking game i've played. Certain much more limited scope games may match in individual areas but certainly not on this scale. Only played a couple of hours so far (Street kid) and I am the kind who just doesn't play single player games but 2 hours for me on single player is very representative of the immersion and atmosphere that it generates. Have seen a few bugs, no weapon sounds, no weapon in hand but nothing game breaking.

:D

Surprised there's no quick save shortcut though

There is, it's still the standard F5 though I couldn't see it listed in the keyboard customisation options. Also it saves so damn quick, onto my nvme ssd, that unless I'm looking directly at the top centre of the screen I miss the icon showing it's saved.

This is good to hear, it would have been painful to play through it all like that... I was wondering how you all had such low standards. ;)
If it was like that all the way through i would be asking for refunds too lol. But no in game its gorgeous, the world is so vibrant. Not seen a game as vibrant and beautiful as this in a long time.
