*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Best car in the game is free, way better than bikes. :)

Way better for crashing :) If you're referring to the supercar hidden in a cave, that one's particularly good for crashing.

Maybe you meant the starting junkmobile. Full of character! Joking aside, that's the car I used throughout both playthroughs for the few times when I picking someone up for a mission and needed a car. I'm a little disappointed none of the NPCs commented on it. Especially when I was wearing clothes that would cost at least ten times what the car would cost if it was new. Why yes, this is a Jinguji original. I bought it when I made my first million.

No, wait, I used Johnny's car for the relevant mission with Rogue because it seemed appropriate. But everyone else I picked up got the junkmobile.

Yeah cave car, had no real issues with it myself. Got me all over the map super fast. Tend to use the view from outside the car.

Jackie's Arch (free motorbike you can get early in the game) doesn't get stuck in traffic, can go offroad and isn't all that much slower than the cave car even when you do have a long stretch of open straight road. It tops out at 178. But with a motorbike you can usually just cut straight across country and get to the destination sooner even at a lower speed. I used the cave car to try (unsuccessfully) to jump the canyon with the ramps on it, where you conduct the special funeral service.

Each to their own, but I think motorbikes are effectively faster than cars because of the freedom to mostly ignore traffic and to go offroad very easily. That isn't necessarily the objective, of course. You might want to finish listening to a song on the radio while travelling. An extremely expensive car might suit your roleplaying. As a bike suited mine.

Bikes have the advantage of more options when you need to get past stuff but I found their controls kind of meh as well.

Until you crash it/get stuck in a tight spot the Militech SUV I found the best for keeping control of the vehicle but when you do lose control it is a right pain. Unfortunately you can't buy that exact model either.

Stuttering as in it is trying to load assets? I dont suffer from it but i get frame drops if i look around while driving quickly.

This is more of a micro stutter, but only when driving in 3rd person. It’s totally fine when walking, running etc. I have read others have had it but no fix was ever mentioned online while searching.

I've now stopped about halfway through my 4th (or 5th I've no idea) run-through - Melee/Blades only Streetkid - as I'm really not enjoying that type of playstyle. Next up is the Nomad with unsilenced firearms and grenades only but I'll wait until the next patch before I start that one as I'm getting a bit burnt-out after the Streetkid issues.

Is the game installed on an SSD? I read somewhere that being installed on a HDD can cause stuttering. I think there may be a HDD mode option in the game settings to help alleviate it.

Yes it’s installed on an ssd. I’ve even tried using the slow drive setting just incase. I’ve tried lowering settings but still the same. It happens much worse when it drops frames in high built up areas. I’ve tried lowering crowd etc and still happens.

I’m using a PG35VQ with G sync enabled.

Very nice spec so you shouldnt be having loading issues, to be honest the game has soooo many bugs its not funny. Ive not had anything game breaking but just random stuff like someone calls me and then i randomly start reciting dialogue from the Delamain quest...wtf!? Immersion breaking to the Nth degree!

Yes that’s what I’m putting it down to. I mean when this happens I also stand up on my motorbike with no trousers on and a top and helmet. It’s such a strange game. Hopefully they fix it at some point, because I enjoy the story. Thanks anyway.
