*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Still, I appreciate that GoG are trying to integrate things.

Same, I actually dropped off using it a while back, might start using it again to provide some feedback to them.

As for CDPR, I'll be getting it through Steam as it is my primary platform. But I'm going to be ordering the steelbook version as well just for the map. I can't wait!

Can't wait for the game, looks like one of my favourite games of all time, Deus Ex with improvements, combinibf fps and rpg elements in an open world like snenario, Im in

Personally I'm just not feeling it - feels too much like a melting pot of lots of "good ideas" which don't necessarily fit together as a whole - I'm just struggling to make any connection to what I've seen so far of the game.

I do feel and I have felt it for quite some time, it just will not live up to the huge hype. That's not to say it will crap, it just wont be anywhere near as open and epic as been shown in the early videos.

Downgrade your expectations then! Assume it will be cookie cutter / try hard garabge, and you might be pleasantly surprised.

I'm fully expecting disappointment.

There is a lot of hype, but last time there was this much hype for Witcher 3, it lived up to it (within reason).

This isn't really my style of game in terms of setting, but I still can't wait to see what they have done with it.

Looking forward to it, got it bundled with my CB Xbox One console (which is amazing btw). Reminds me a bit of Blade Runner, roll on September!

I'd loved to be proved wrong but when I saw the game #1 on Steam after the Keanu reveal I thought uh oh...

Pre-orders are bad.
I agree. But certain games I still do it. It averages maybe 1-2 a year for me. The rest I do not even buy day 1 but wait for them to be beta tested by the public for 6-12 months, patched up and at half price or less :)

This game may not live up to my expectations, but even if it does not it will likely still provide me with more enjoyment than most games ever do, so happy to pre-order. Besides I got it for only £35 and that’s the steam version, so cannot complain :D

I remember preordering Deus Ex Mankind Divided and went for the digital deluxe version as I wanted to support the devs due to it being one of my favourite franchises. The game ended up not living up to my expectations, but I still completed it at least twice and had a lot of fun. Shame the franchise has been shelved. Hopefully we hear news about it coming back soon. Will likely take 4-5 years of dev time though :(

Surely the issue with pre-orders is that if the game is bad it still gets rewarded.

There's no suggestion that the very act of pre-orders being made makes the game more likely to be poor, is there?

My expectations are pretty low, I've not ordered it nor am I hyped for it. Witcher 3 bored the pants off me with the continual pointless npc dialogue, it goes on and on. Never got the fapping over CDPR either personally.

I'll check it out once it arrives but its hardly on my radar.
