Yeah true. I guess the way I read it, it made it sound substandard. We will see the comparison shots soon enough. That's expected isn't it? I don't think any game does ray traced *only* lighting? It's too expensive resource-wise.
Ah shame. Looking forward to RT on and off comparisons.
Viewing those on a mobile makes it look like a piece of art. They look very good. But will have to see how they look on my monitor later on.

Heh. A part of me wondered if it was. But I do find many things look better on my phone due to high dpi. Those are concept shots.
Well, looks like this game is going to cost about £500, don't think my Vega 56 will be too happy at the resolution and framerate I'd want![]()
My 970 4690K 1333mhz ddr3 1080P, envies you.
I'm definitely going to start upgrading more often, 5-6 years has hit me hard.
Considering the game has to run on a base xbox one from 2013, easily.I71070k & 1080ti @ 1080p hoping this will cut the mustard?

The same applies to the rear and even the small front light on the vehicle.
Ray-Traced Reflections: Lettering and lighting are not only reflected in the pool (which could also be screen space reflections), but are diffusely reflected by walls and asphalt. The reflections even seem to take the surface condition into account.
Good to know, cheers.Considering the game has to run on a base xbox one from 2013, easily.
We often forget this is a current gen game whose development started over a decade ago.
For reference, the reveal footage in 2018 was running 4k30 off a 1080ti. It will surely be more optimized by now, at least for 1440p60.
Why do these sci-fi/futuristic/cyberpunk games/movies/novels etc always have a big Japanese influence?
