*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Just use DLSS 2.0 and gain the extra 20+ fps?

I think a lot of people don't realise how much of a game changer it is lol. Maybe we;ve been so used to being given games that are sub-par the last few years out the box that it's expected everything will be poorly optimised and thus run like crap on otherwise excellent gaming cards from 1080 and up with higher settings.

Honestly with my 2080, I'm just hoping for a locked 30fps at 1440p with everything set to pretty much max settings, (inc Ray Tracing) and I will be playing it on my 4K TV rather than my 4K PC monitor because the upscaler in my TV is far superior to the one in my PC monitor and 1440p looks fantastic on it.

I'd far rather play at a locked, rock solid 30fps than a constantly fluctuating 30-60fps, TBH.
I’m at 1440p ultrawide so it’s a decent chunk lower than your res, but if you play at 1440p it should still run Ok I’d have thought.

I have a 2080 and I've never used DLSS. Dont even know how to

Ah sorry DLSS is only available on the 20 series and up I believe. Can't imagine a 1080 being poor to run it without either way though.

Surprised you didn't like RDR 2!?

Loved the setting in that game, could just spends hours riding around admiring the scenery.

Superb story too and when the action kicked in, it was so good.

But definitely, you need to be interested in the game setting to really get into it.

Love westerns

Love futuristic/scifi settings like blade runner etc. so cyberpunk already on a good start

Hate medieval.... then add in the pointless boring waffling multiple choice dialogue urgh.....

Bit like the division 1 and 2, new york, xmas time with snow and that dark + gritty feel makes the game a hundred times better, where as with division 2........ set in summer in a boring bland city i.e. Washington, meh....
Rd2 is a masterpiece

Night city wire #4 over, the cars look great and the sound engineers recorded pretty much everything it seems even to the point of recording the windows up/down noise of Silverhand's Porsche 930

I played through RDR2 with a 1800X CPU and FuryX(4GB) GPU and it ran and looked great. I would say its very optimized considering how good it looks, its one of the best looking and most detail packed games available.

Whenever I see discussions about DLSS and folks wishing for it to come to already released games, then RD2 seems to always be mentioned and folks heartily wishing for it, I can't say anything about it myself.
