I pre-ordered it a couple of weeks with an Ebay code, so I got it for £39 (PS4).
I'm now thinking I'll probably not play it until the PS5 patch is released. Just deciding if I should cancel in the hope that it'll drop in price between the PS4 and PS5 launches, or if it's going to be able to maintain it's £49 price tag because there is going to be a next gen upgrade released around 6 months time.

That explains why in my orders on their site it says preparing for dispatch, oh well was nice whilst the dream lasted. :D
 
Not my post.......

(Currently 6 hours into the game on xbox series x and I just now got the title screen....this is a BIG game) Population density is wayyyy higher than I was expecting, runs at 60fps with some frame drops, the game is very buggy like repeated crashes, dialogue just not being played sometimes, I've had the controller become completely unresponsive for several seconds a dozen times or so, some serious ghosting on objects when moving quickly, animations just not working properly, screen flickering a lot, vehicles and npcs spawning and despawing out of thin air. And TONS of repeating npcs. Like 3 identical npcs standing directly next to each other. The game REALLY needs a patch. This version is nowhere near close to ready. I'm just hoping that that patch is magic because damn. Severe jank. But when everything works right....Dude this game is amazing. It lives up to the hype. It really does.

got refunded by Amazon and given a £10 voucher. They sent me an email yesterday and said if I wanted another they have sourced some, I am not sure how i fee at the minute and I think I’d rather just wait now until I can walk to a shop and buy one because I have zero faith in them, despite what they say about lightening striking twice.

I really doubt it will happen again. Just get one delivered and if it somehow did happen again, Amazon would be giving you more than a £10 voucher I’m sure. No point prolonging the situation!
 
Genuinely didn’t see a loading screen, unless I’m blind (quite likely).

But you are right, fingers crossed for the day one patch. I am sure what’s floating about at the moment isn’t representative of what we will see.
