Dalglish resigned/sacked?

Noooooooooo, the Keep Kenny Koaching campaign has failed miserably. :( Not that anyone will miss the coat chewing ****. :p

I'm genuinely intrigued as to who Liverpool will appoint next though.

Duncan Jenkins on twitter - who despite his clown like image, continues to get snippets of info about Liverpool before anybody else. And Andrey Heaton has just mentioned it.

edit: To add to the above, there were rumours pre-Dalglish that AVB was the owners number one choice to replace Hodgson.

Uhh, I've just seen somebody reliable mention AVB. Maybe jonney wasn't full of **** after all.

edit: make that 2 people :/

Good lord, this will be a huge shock if so.

What would people think of AVB? Is he really the man to turn things around for Liverpool?!

I think AVB deserves a second chance, I don't think his time at Chelsea was really a true reflection of his abilities, but Liverpool might be a big ask.

i'm betting carra and gerrard could be just as, if not bigger arses than the chelsea old guard.

high line, carra, high line.

If by turning things around, you mean doing a 180, and heading to the bottom end of the table, then yes.

(I'm not a bitter Chelsea fan at all :p)

Of the possible candidates, he's one of the better ones. His style of football and analytical (if that's the right word) approach is something that the fans and owners would appreciate.

Kevin Keegan is not doing much atm

:D

Seriously, as a neutral I want to see Liverpool doing well, so I hope they bring in a big name. Is Mourinho too unrealistic?....seems like the kind of mad thing he would do...and Liverpool are a massive club.

Hah, Mourinho wouldn't even consider Liverpool. They're too far gone.
