Dalglish resigned/sacked?

Liverpool need consistency.. If this is true then it's detrimental to where they want to be. I'm totally confused.

Exactly. There's no doubt that this season hasn't been good enough but the last thing we need right now is another change of manager. Despite what some people try to claim, things are a lot better now than 18 months ago, the problem is that we hoped/expected them to be even better than this.

There were a lot of Liverpool fans calling for Benitez's head during his last season and they very quickly realised how wrong a call that was. Dalglish has done enough to deserve another season but even had he not done enough, there are times where the best decision is still to stick with that manager for the time being.

But not if that manager is Hodgson right Baz? :p

Yes

Hodgson was taking us backwards and there was a better person out there to replace him. When there's no obvious replacement to improve things then making a change for the sake of it is the wrong decision.

The owners will be in trouble if they start paying to much attention to the media and acting based on public opinions after all it looks like every body in England is a football tactician starting from the news reporters via players to the us the fans. Yet England has failed to produced a world class football Manager.

What they forget is we are rebuilding and if you are doing so changing managers now and then won't lead you any where unless they want to follow Chelsea example. I am of the feeling if KK is sacked unless you bring back Rafa our players may start acting like Chelsea players i.e getting Managers sacked by refusing to play well. We may have finished 8th but i saw an improved performance on the pitch and i think KK needs another season before we can write him off and so does his signings.

Any new manager will not get rid of our flops easily hence seeing it as a good excuse if he doesn't make any difference. And you may say its the Carling cup or simple FA finals but atleast he has shown he still knows how to win things and that's what matters most

Replacing KK with Martinez is no different from replacing Raul Mirles with Adam

I don't see why the Spanish waiter wouldn't go back to Liverpool now, new owners and a fresh start for him or is there more to it than that?

It's not that straight forward. For a start I'm not sure if it's still too soon for him to return. Although the majority of fans were supportive of him, there was a section of our support that were very anti-Benitez.

On paper Benitez is nearly a perfect fit with the new owners. A lot of what he was doing/wanted to do when he was manager ties in with what we're told that the owners want. The only question mark I have about Benitez working with FSG is over control. Benitez will want to be the man with the final say on all things football; for example, he'll work with a Director of football but he'd want to be the person that chose the Dof. I'm not sure he'd get that sort of control though.

Case in point, Terry Connor.
