As said earlier, time heals all wounds. Unfortunatly it also kills you eventually.
But thats off the topic.
You're 18, older than me. Legally a full fledged adult tbh,
18 years is a long time to be living, you'll have learned a lot from it.
Problem being, theres always someone else who has learned more.
Its these kind of people you want to be getting advice from,
preferrably someone you know and trust. Like a good friend or something.
Im not going to kid you and tell you it would never last, hey.. None of us know the circumstances really. The problem really is that for something to work out it has to begin. Don't obsess over getting it to begin. If it does, it does, if it doesnt, it doesnt. You've learned something from it. Either way theres a bright side.
You're right, there are times when you just know something. But unfortunatly, you may know it, but hardly anyone, if anyone else will know it. And I will tell you this, you still have a chance. That isn't false hope, dont dwell on it. Just make sure you don't count yourself out, don't think it will always be like that. Hope that tomorows a brighter day.
Realise that its not a case of this being a small thing. Its clearly a big thing, the really hard thing to do is to get over it though. You'll be a much better person for not feeling bad about it, and just having a flicker of hope.
Good luck mate, dare I say. Theres probably about one and a half billion other fish in the sea, think about probability. Really
