Someone tried to steal my neighbours ford escort on friday night. got as far as ripping the bit under the steering wheel off before being chased off. Police said there going for old cars. Thankfully as mine was behind his :D

They got 2 sets of perfect prints...who think's they will catch them lol.

I've got a Disklok. Wouldn't be without it as I feel it works very well as a deterrent in most cases.

I can't believe they came back to try again. A guy on Rovertech recently had someone attempt to get into his Coupe Turbo... despite the visible Disklok and Toad alarm blaring away.

Simple thing to do would be to remove 2 ignition leads, even if they do get in they won't be able to go anywhere. Having said that they'd probably inflict damage instead.

A vital starting part is removed, there is no way they can get this car running and steal it. 2 HT leads is kinda obvious, I am far more devious than that!

It goes to show the brain capacity of the average car thief.

Some muppet tried to hotwire my old Astra that's waiting to go to the scrappers.

They made a mess of the door to get it - It was unlocked.

The broke the ignition barrel thinking they could hotwire it despite 3 stickers informing them it had a Clifford Alarm.

The icing on the cake would have been when then couldn't get it started, They popped the bonnet to jump start it only to find there's no engine.

I'm kicking myself for not having CCTV just for the lol's

omg lol
