A good area to soul farm is in Anor Londo (after youve killed smough and ornstein)

start at the princess bonfire drop down to the floor below

take out the 2 sentinels = 7200 souls
1 knight archer = 1800 souls
2 large knights outside = 3000

use homeward bone.

repeat

(just using the serpent ring which ups the souls given)



so roughly on each run you can get about 12,000 souls. If you are quick you can do this in about 1 minute roughly. to kill the sentinels quicker i just do falling attacks on them kills them in one hit.

Another plus point for this location is that its right next to the blacksmith and he has lots of upgrade shards e.g. twinkling titanite thats used for a lot of the unique armours and weapons.

Pro tip. Best area to farm humanity = near end tomb of giants baby skeletons infinite numbers

Also, if you're already human and have plenty of humanity it increases the drop chance if I remember correctly.

You need to be quite a high level to kill them in one hit! I always found them a pain to kill, even at level 250 so just avoided them because they're slow. Best way to farm souls at a lowish level is still Darkroot Garden. 7k souls every 2 minutes without killing anything.

only lvl 80

1st sentinel you get a free 2 hand flying attack into. then take him out however

2nd sentinel lure him up stairs where archer is. simply fall on him and press attack (2 handed of course!) and the big mother drops like a sack of potatoes.

imo these guys are waaaay easier than doing soul runs in places like tomb of giants or demon ruins.


I did darkroot garden but its boring and also it takes a little longer than the Anor Londo run.

Using Anor Londo you are real close to a)bonfire b) important blacksmith c) respawning enemies worth farming

bonus is you sometimes get titanite chunks from the sentinels as well

i finally got the platinum trophy it was the rare weapons one that had me stumped. i created all the boss weapons and nothing then i went back to anor londo picked up some silver knight spear and bam 100%.
im soul level 160 on ng++ and i just have to say the 4 kings boss is a joke im dead in twenty seconds

4 kings was easy for me first time albeit only on my first run through.

I always summon allys for boss fights. I clear out the level so theres nothing but boss left and then i summon folk to help. Someone got me the moonlight greatsword from crystal caves boss.

Crystals caves is good for soul farming though.


but yeah i need to finish the game really! DD is almost here... almost there done crystal caves, dukes archives though i avoided the bosses in demon ruins.

Not greatly impressed with darkwraith covenant. Yeah it is kinda cool sucking the humanity outta NPCS but dont use dark hand (sucks as a shield as well tbh)
Armour looks kinda cool but its no better than standard armour really.

Got silver knight spear its ok i guess...i always end up going back to my +5 lightning uchigana. I think basically because im too low level for some weapons to do better than it (scaling wise)

So now i need to tidy things up and finish the levels im stalling on. (spent a while farming demon titanite in demons ruins.)

Ahh lost izalith and kiln of the last flame i think is all i have to do left.
