Dark Soul's: Prepare to Die Edition (PC)

10/10 For packaging this is a ridiculous amount of physical content for the std game price the book is very high quality Namco are insane they must have spent a lot on the extra physical goodies ;)

....and someone took all of 23 mins to fix the textures issue & make them look very good indeed ;)

I have a feeling the PC modders will have a field day on this game now if 1 guy can unlock the restriction in 23 mins.........

This is exactly why I will be going to the bay for this (if i can be bothered) among other reasons. Takes a guy 23 mins to do something that From Software were just too lazy to do! Seriously 23 mins. Horrible.

I'd take a Steam over a retail.
I don't like having discs all over the place, find it easier to download and go AFK.
If this does go cheap retail quickly, I'll bite the bullet.
But it's like 3.8GB, that's about 10 minutes downloading lol.

Its not intentional they do not have the experience/time/money from Namco its this or nothing do not punish them for that it will make no difference just buy the game for all the things it does right if you want to see more from Namco/From Software on PC they will not be looking at anything other than outright sales & posting here your going to pirate a game is asking for the mods to take action against you!

Ah is that really all it is? My internet isn't that fast so buying retail nearly always works in my favor.

I really am interested to see what other mods we'll see with this game.

That's not what the guy who fixed the problem believes, given he did it in no time at all.

If any.

People always put an emphasis on the modding community, bar Bethesda games and GTA 4, a few others, when were they last prominent? (Yes, we have DayZ at the moment)

Did the guy on NeoGAF say how he fixed the upscaling issue or provide links to download whatever he came up with? I scanned through the links posted and even went back to the original post of him showing it off, but I didn't see anything regarding the implementation of the fix.

Nah he has not released it yet, fingers crossed it does work later in the game. Lots of hype about it now on a lot of sites LOL

I understand the appeal of this game, it's about time developers got back to making rock hard games. However the videos I see make the combat look really erm clunky when compared to say Darksiders II... :(
