What stupid thinking.

They are making a game to then sell for a full RRP to which they then want to make profit.

They did not release it to the "fans" for free.

Also, you are deluded if you think they are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.

This is not for the fans, it was to make a "smash and grab" on the reputation alone.

Can someone advise what lead to the game being Steamworks? Demand?

It still has GFWL though, just activates on Steam.

More like the Japanese devs with no clue on PC platform go when Namco bosses tell them to make PC port.

"Hurr Durr we need PC port, let's check google see how to convert a game, oh what's this GFWL, we'll use that it says windows and pcs run on windows. PC gamers must use this."

Just loaded it up and my game looks weird as hell. It's just a box in the top left hand corner is that normal? Can still see the UI and subtitles over the black boarder covering the rest of the screen.

Faith is great for pvp and healing, but for offense your gonna want Magic.
 
Cheers that's fixed it.

Urg spinning camera round feels like I'm on really crappy hardware.

I've chosen a theif cause it said I get big crits! Though can't imagine this makes much difference. I chose a wizard for my demon's soul game and hardly used any spells in that playthrough.
 
I think I've just stumbled upon the horrors of GFWL.

I've installed the game but it says my windows live account is locked? It told me to go to accounts.live.com or whatever and I can log in fine on that. What the hell is going on?
 
Yeah camera isn't the best. I was playing without the res fix for a start and I was getting lag! :eek:

I wonder if res fix will help that. Game looks horrible without it though!
 
The res fix is amazing, only downside is it uses xbox button prompts but i had tried this on PS3 and its more suites to a joypad so going to use my xbox pad with it.

Hopefully some more mods come around to improve it a bit more as well.

Got the sword easy, I'm thinking now of using the sycthe on the side.

I used a Lightning Great Scythe in my Dark Wraith build a while back, once I got it to +5 it was awesome, used very little stamina, had great range and power and had a very quick rush attack that could go around people's guard.
