So this is a remake of the original one?

Not a remake, more continuing the story with a different crew/u boat. Binge watched 4 episodes last night and it's pretty good. Rather than concentrating on the u boat like the original this has a fair bit of shore action as well though. Not totally convinced by this.
It'll never beat the original though, which is one of my all time favourite films (in German)
Second series already ordered apparently.
