David Cameron looking to ban gay kisses...

Stick all the kissers in a closet before 9pm and be done with it. Filthy habit. Followed by all the nose pickers and farters. Keep Britain clean. Sounds very sensible, no wait.... :p

If he's being lobbied by these family groups to ban it, then it's not unreasonable for him to do so, if they are presenting a suitably compelling argument.

Shock as politics works as it's supposed to.

When I was in school, some 20 years ago, being gay was a bad thing and anyone who seemed gay was seen as an outcast socially at best, at worst they got beaten up for it. Nowadays I've noticed that half my Daughters friends seem to be Gay or at least Bi. What is going on? Is it becoming trendy or something?

I greatly dislike men kissing on television, or in general. I dont mind women as much, for obvious reasons provided they aren't generic male-looking short haired ugly lesbians :p

I imagine women feel the same way, but in reverse. Plus, female homosexual stuff is a lot less common than male on TV anyway, so a ban wouldn't matter. We wouldn't be 'losing out'.

Sounds like rubbish to me. If a man and a woman can kiss on TV then a man and a man can kiss on TV. The reality of life is that men kiss men, and the frequency with which this occurs in public will increase as time goes on. It's normal and acceptable behaviour and banning it on TV is a backwards step.

Who really cares, I don't particularly care for watching men snogging full on whether on TV or in Public, it makes me feel uncomfortable. However hetero couples going at it in public makes me fell uncomfortable as well, although it doesn't particularly bother me on TV.

I can always turn the TV over if I don't want to watch it.

My thoughts exactly.

Seems strange to me when they can't even get swearing right on the TV, I was watching a panel show at 7pm on a channel and they were using words like "p***" and "s***"

without being beeped out

Is that link in the OP even a good link?

If I'm being completely honest I find it extremely uncomfortable when I see two men kissing. I'd go as far as to say that IMO it's disgusting, I find it very unnatural.

However I do not say anything as I know it's their personal choice. In my eyes it's wrong though.

It's no different to two women kissing?

It's just because you are male and you cringe at the thought of dropping the soap

I generally find most TV aimed at children/young teens these days to be over the mark.

It's a sad fact that now our children do not have an innocent youth.

Oi, OP, dont post a news story that directly references a Dail Fail article in the hope of giving it a scrap of validity by hiding its true origon.

A review launched with the backing of David Cameron is expected to recommend that sexually suggestive scenes currently allowed before the 9pm watershed – such as the famous lesbian embrace on soap opera Brookside – should not be shown until later in the evening.

It doesn't say anything about gay kisses, it says sexually suggestive scenes. Its your scaremongering fail media outlet that has sensationalized the story adding drama to sell more copies

Go read a proper paper.
