Base building was the best part of DoW for me, DoW 2 wasn't as fun as one but it did have a better story I felt.

Although they better go back to bigger armies and base building and not the pathetic small squads like in DOW 2.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in the world who prefered the small scale squad based action to highlighting a mess of units and clicking attack.

Either way I'm hyped but I really hope it carries on in Dow 2's style.

I much proffered dow2 and the tactic side using the right units to block or counter. So I am pretty excited and hope it is like dow2 use to love watching some of the tournament play too.

Great time, replaying the old games at the moment. I tweaked DoW1 with updated graphics and a few new units would do me nicely!

Now I just need them to make Space Marine 2 for my console, and I'm sorted!

Fingers crossed this is as good as DoW1, used to play it all the time on LAN with my housemates and at college. Seems like I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed with 2!

Ooohh, such a coincidence for me. I was thinking about Dawn of war 1 the other day, this has come at the perfect time. Shame that Dawn of war 1 really hasn't graphically aged well at all.

Doubt we'll get base building all the RTS genre seems to have moved away from that now

Last one I remember having it to a degree was COH.

It's the same developers as COH. I hope Dawn of war 2 was just a one off.
