Dawn of War 3?

They've always done awesome trailers, good to see they're keeping that up.

Question for the W40K gurus out there - what race are the squat machines that take out the Eldar walkers? They don't look Space Marine or CSM.
 
Put together a video detailing all the news and media we have at the moment on Dawn of War 3, soon as I get more information I will make more videos to keep everyone updated. Today has been a good day, hopefully we'll get more stuff this week :D

 
I've always struggled with base building in Dawn of War. Base building was never part of the lore of Warhammer, and to be forced to in DoW always seemed weird. DoWII sat far better with me as the smaller squads where more appropriate.

That old Warhammer Epic game was more appropriate for the base building as that dealt with massive armies and not the small skirmish maps we've had so far in the DoW series.
 
Holy moly, if this is like DOW I then it will be instant pre-order for me - I still play DoW: Soulstorm (heavily modded with Ultimate Apocalypse, Tyranids, IDH and Daemons mind you) to this day :D
 
Looking forward to this, I preferred DOW2's style and felt it fit the game setting better but the first one was still a lot of fun.

Someone definitely needs to start feeding the Space Marines better though! they look so skinny an Ork could fart on one and knock it over.

I'm interested. What are these games like? I've never played any of the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War games before and, Steam have a sale on.
 
Awww yisss, DoW is back :D

Enjoyed both 1 and 2. The lack of bases in 2 was an interesting take on the usual RTS format.
 
+1 for the base building. I just never clicked with the squad mechanics version of DOW2, but there was something immensely satisfying about building a base, setting up fields of fire, then rolling out and crushing all resistance.
