Delivery companies have some very strange ideas what is part of the UK and what is "off-shore" this is not an OcUK decision, i sent something to hailing island the other month, had all sorts of problems getting a sensible quote, because many classed it as "off-shore!!"
If you live in N'Ireland or similar off-shore location you should be even more familiar with this particular issue and should understand that free UK mainland delivery is unlikely to cover your region, it's nothing new, and not likely to change any time soon !... want to complain at someone, complain at those that make up the guidelines ie. the delivery companies

Just an enquiry about the deals at the mo, the other day i rodered a 6970 and an active mini dp to dvi adaptor and with rmsd im sure the delivery charge was £25.00. At the mo i have a second 6970 in my basket and its showing the delivery charge via rmsd to be £11.95. :confused:
 
Sounds like you might have had a different delivery time scale set on the previous order, something like say "next day" versus "3-5 day" .... this would cause a difference in shipping costs, and it can be quite a lot too, it should tell you in your order history details, and in the checkout/basket for the current one
 
Just tried ordering using the code but the page got hung up on the preferred delivery date so i had to use paypal to complete the order so didn't get the benefit of the code :(. Nice offer for xmas to be sure just wish i could have used it lol.

Noticed this myself. 6970 + dp adapter = £25 RMSD. Remove adapter and it drops to £11.95. Must take you over some sort of threshold. Easy solution is to order the adapter on its own. It then shows up as free 1st class post. :)

I went with the HIS 6870 with the free MW2 voucher in the end. £167 seemed too much of an amazing deal for that card with a free game as well.

Should be a massive upgrade for me from a 8800 GTX. :cool:
 
Nice deal been hankering after a GTX580 and with the non branded version thats quite a nice deal!

Cant wait till thursday got a as I added a Logitech G19 and a razer imperator to the basket too oooh and that OCZ 700w PSU since the 3rd PC is lying around in bits :p

Well gents i would like to say thanks for the 5%.
For those that are having problems with the delivery cost not clearing at the payment process screen then try this, go back to the view basket/order screen then go back into the checkout screen. It worked for me :)

Charged me the full amount! :(, got free 1st class post with Royal mail though. however the price of the Keyboard remained the same :(

Hi all and merry xmas
ive been trying for the last hour to confirm my order and it wont go through
it registers the 5% dicount and the free shipping i tick the confirm order box and put my card code in an bam order declined ;(

so now at 00:10 as i write this im a little peeved the order didnt go through

i ordered a graphics card last month with the same card and same adress and it went through ok
the card was £100
my new order £770

no details have changed
is it something to do with the value?
could i still get my discount and get my order through..
