DAY 25: CHRISTMAS DAY DEAL, LAUNCHING EARLY!

I didn't order either of the graphics card(s) I was looking at as I just couldn't decide between the 6970 and the 570. So decided to stick with my 5870 a little bit longer.

I annoyed myself that I left it so late. Luckily my order seemed to go through OK, albeit without a graphics card (or cards) on it. I probably missed some good prices on those graphics cards but 5870 -> 6970 / 570 just didn't seem like a worthwhile upgrade and 5870 -> 6970CF / 570SLI just seemed expensive.

When are the dual GPU cards out? :D

I ended up getting the 5% because OcUK were out of stock last week and I stupidly bought from ******, I even knew when I was buying from them that they were shady, but they offered delivery on Monday last week... of course it didn't arrive and they're refusing to cancel an order that hasn't even left their warehouse, so it's Paypal dispute time and ordered from OcUK instead who now have it back in stock and I get the 5% off because of it.

Figured I would have my quick say... I think the 5% is a great offer, better service from OCUK although not always cheapest I have yet to have 1 problem with an order so thumbs up from me!!

Oh and free delivery for EVERYONE on all orders was a great touch or do people forget that.

I think if you did a free delivery day a couple times a year ;) that would be a result and create a lot more loyalty from people who hunt for the best deal... there is always a nice feeling thinking you have 'scored' free delivery when normally you wouldn't

mine says 8.43am as the time it went on the van for delivery, did you get a 1hr time slot for delivery? I've not recieved a time slot, I got a 1 hour time slot for the order from a compatitor(got an email and a text) tho the guy was late due to being stuck in evening traffic(the time slot was 4.33pm - 5.33pm but he was like a hour late).

I'm going to be reformatting my hard disk and installing windows 7 home premium finally, have had it since release and been meaning to install(ordered 2 copies for £49.99 each in the pre-order offer decided against a 3 copy. was thinking about pro but decided on home premium). got all the important and obvious data backed up now just need to check through and see not missed anything, also backup the steam games so don't need to re-download.
 
i ordered like 9 components on christmas day with the free delivery, i checked the delivery progress and it says its waiting for receipt, i checked the overclockers website and it says order is complete, anyone know roughly when i will recieve the stuff?
