Breaking Point isn't DayZ it's a separate ARMA3 mod.

Lol their must be easier way of doing this.... the picture is monkey holding to two guns (timesplitters), with monkeyman written above it in blue. Other names ak,DasMonkey, ironchimp, monkeyman@ breakingpoint

Why is there such a buzz about BP at the moment? From what I've googled it appears to be years old.

It's had a couple of updates, Esseker map was added recently which breathed a bit of life back into into it.

From my low amount of play time it just seems to be an ARMA 3 version of DayZ with encouraged teamwork/friendliness and a severe lack of vehicles?

There's little friendliness in BP, still mostly kill on sight unless you can find some friendly in faction chat and meet up or play in a group.

You have to be careful meeting up with a friendly player too as they could be in a mixed group, so even if they'd be penalised by the points system for killing you their mate may be a different class and relish taking your life.

There's only a handful of vehicles per map but on the smaller maps they're pretty easy to find. Even on Altis I've found.fully repaired vehicles a few times.
