***Dayz: Stand Alone Thread***

I play first person the entire time, I don't get peoples problems with it? I prefer my game to be immersive not arcadey.

Also what is wrong with comparing the 2 games? Look in most of the games threads and you will see people talking about comparisons. The 2 games are extremely related to start off with, and comparing them shouldn't be an issue?

i don't post in arma 3 thread , i don't post in nether have posted a couple of posts and one was a video on it. im not responding in any threads with another game every time. lets not start being silly now.

The thread is 100 pages long so no I haven't read it, but the number of RTM's about Arma3 being brought up all the time and saying how much better it is than Dayz SA is many so I thought it would be wise to mention if we can keep the thread on topic, but now I see I cant even do that without complaints.

maybe you have the FOV set too high now? I upped mine a little bit and although I didn't feel sick from it, it was a little bit disorientating looking at how the screen fisheyes towards the edges/corners. also tried playing about with mouse settings? (turning down/off acceleration) as that could be a factor with your view suddenly accelerating rather than smooth gradual movements.


(edit: p.s. ..... what's RTM? :p )

Maybe because you have not read the thread and all the other comments. Just saying
 
Mouse acceleration is going to be sorted soon. seen one of the forum mods mention it last few days.

that and low fps can make a queezy ride in towns. i have my fov set to middle seems about right.

I'm just saying, SA and Arma3 are directly related, and comparing the 2 games in this thread really shouldn't be a problem. Other threads compare games of the same nature.

I bet DG is the one RTM'ing the posts about Arma3 because he has some kind of weird fetish for SA. The games are directly related, and discussion and comparisons between the two will continue all the time. It's a non-issue.
 
A Good loot run is something like,

Balota > Military North of Kamenka > Military zelnogorsk > Military South of NWAF > then NWAF. The tents at the end of the runway are full of scopes too.
