I was going to upgrade to a 3770K and put my 3570K in the MM, the hyperthreading makes a big difference on some projects, but then realised I had everything to make another rig apart from the board, so I thought what hell, why not.

Might need to work harder so i can justify getting a few more Boxes in our DC. Don't like using my own power but if its Company money then its OK by me

Good thing about these Ivydridge machines tho' is that they are very economical. I set mine at stock voltages and OC them far as I can, 4.2Ghz for the 3570k and 4.1 for the 3770K, they both use between 100 -130W depending on the project, which costs me less than £10 per box, per month, running 24/7 ... of course it adds when you have several, and graphic cards to boot, but I *try* to keep at all around £30 a month.

Just brought my second DL360 online, another 8 cores and 8 gigs of ram to add. Is enigma still worth doing to boost our rankings?

Worth doing Enigma for 2 reasons. We could probably get another 400 popular nts out of it easy but with a little more effort we might pass teams above us in the vault. That will take points off them too.

Made it to 12th and 11th just over the horizon. Good work from the whole team. Even those who are not aware of the vault :-)

As always the fun work around the fridges is backed up by solid positions in the major projects.

Shame we cant invade another team and put there enslaved masses to work for us.... must get out more.

So Asteroids now seems to be part of the vault.

Now if only they would get the correct team showing for World Community Grid, but it seems the edit team process hasn't made any difference

When the asteroids stats get added I expect us to drop a bit.... but the challenge is giving us a nice bump so we might climb back fast. No idea what to do about WCG except perhaps send a PM to whoever runs the thing?

Creeping up on 11th again. Switching back some effort to OGR-27 as i think thats my best target for points.

Might look at getting a new GPU at some point so i can add some power elsewhere. Probably need to buy some tyres first though :-(

We just moved up one on PSP so thats another 300+ Vault points

45ish days for the next team stomp, then I think I'm going to switch to another project because the gap to the next team is huge - we would need to more than double our points.
