LOL! What the hell? You'll need a good pair of sunglasses. They cant be serious the HDR being that bright.. but then again.. .... no, even in RL it wouldn't be liike that. lol.

Either your taking screenshots just after you look up from the floor, or your graphics card doesn't understand how to render HDR or something

i turned hdr off last time i played dod, looks nice but it was a handicap i really didnt need.

Standing still mate. Although that wasnt full HDR, it was that bloom option, but full HDR gave the same reult but half the FPS.

Cards a 6800 so id imagine its OK.

No idea why it's like that then, it's absolutely fine with me, a really really nice visual addition. The maps are still dark in places, it's fine with me.

set to bloom it looks like that for me but if i set it to full its fine, but the fact that all the models are the same for me and their lag compesation seems to make me laggy as **** have completly spoiled the game for me

I thought it defaulted to 0 now?

On a similar note, does anyone know the command to stop the auto downloading of all those stupid mp3s you get on some servers?

glad i dont have hdr/bloom turned on, apart from anything my poor 9800pro would choke and die a slow painful death...and i cant afford to replace it

No, it's still at cl_smooth 1, but setting it to cl_smooth 0 solved the problems for me

I'd do a search on the steam forums, i remember seeing it there definately.

Just tried it out and it owns, lovely visuals. Although i wouldnt play a competetive match with it on. I didn't once get a bit of graphics lag. woot

Is it just me that can't get the new skins working?

Model models/player/ct_gsg9.mdl has a bad texture ct_gsg9
Model models/player/t_arctic.mdl has a bad texture t_arctic

I keep getting that error :confused:

Lol, just tested it out, had bloom on and I was like WTF?!!!??!! So I had to turn HDR on

even thought I get 20-25fps on my X800GTO¬_¬

If you can't see the models properly, open console and type: cl_minmodels 0
