Dead Rising 3 latest vid just got me very interested in the game.

I find the survivors are ok, give them a gun and the turn into Hershel from The Walking Dead.

I lost Anna though as I didn't understand what I was doing to start with. :o

Re-finished it again just now, got the proper ending this time. Nice little twist at the end, didn't see it coming. Up to level 42 now, with nearly every combo weapon available, so going to attack Nightmare mode now.

Certainly not spoiled for choice then! :D

I only want Forza 5/DR3 and maybe Ryse. Just gotta wait for Morrisons to stock them so I can save 10% :D

Just re-added you, wondered why I hadn't seen you online :p Either I deleted you or you deleted me :o

On a side note is anyone doing the missions on the companion app? I got one called The Set-up and you have to find 3 pieces of evidence yet they don't exist when you go to the locations. Had a quick Google and seen others with the same issue so either it's bugged or I'm being thick.

Was that at the police station? I found the app a bit buggy, but a restart of the game and a restart of the app sorted things out pretty much every time for me.
 
Is anyone collecting everything on each chapter before progressing, I am usually really anal about doing everything but there are so many things to collect! I am reluctant to move forward at the moment in case I miss out on anything though (have combined the vehicle but not driven it yet). Stupid woman keeps following me everywhere.

I have a side quest that I definitely want to complete but can't figure out how, it's called Break and Enter and the step is to contact Jamie but I can't see anything at all on the map.

Also, there is a tragic ending on top of a stone pillar I can't for the life of me figure out how to get too. It's where the blueprint for the dragon head things were.

p.s. I only have about 4 friends on the Xbox One so please feel free to add me - CambsGooner.
 
I wasn't overly bothered about going out of my way to collect everything, as I knew I'd end up back in certain areas with more time on my hands. By the end of the game, I had collected 91 out of 101 blueprints (you get some for completing chapters) and got way over half of everything else (tragic endings, statues, speakers destroyed).

I don't remember that specific tragic ending, but if it's up high, see if there are any buildings that overlook where you think the ending is, and see if you can climb up that instead. I remember for a couple of items I had to go above it and then jump down to it.
 
It's my first DR game so not really sure how it progresses with regards to replaying areas etc. If I'll end up back there I won't be so fussed about collecting everything during the initial chapter.

I'll have to double check it, it was on a high pillar but I thought it was in a courtyard with nothing near it.

Any idea on the Jamie side quest?

As Anti says, it was just some artwork, nothing special. I'm tempted to try and power through Nightmare mode tonight and tomorrow though to try to complete that Challenge as well (completing it in launch week).

You'll end up everywhere in the map a dozen times over. The missions have you all over the place so don't worry about collecting everything in an area before moving on. Also, some items are behind locked doors that don't open until later in the game, so you may end up wasting time trying to get items you can't get early in the game.

You could try driving a car close to it and using that to climb up. Without seeing it I really can't be more help though.

Is this still right near the start of the game? What was the initial part of the mission? Lob it in spoilers if you don't want to ruin it for anyone :)
 
Ah k I think I'll continue in my combined car then and come back later, I have collected a fair bit already.

Yeah then you have to kill 3 cops at 3 different locations as they're supposed to be carrying evidence. Kill the cops but no bags.

Ah, if you were using Smartglass you may find it'll work the next time you play it. I found Smartglass to be quite buggy, and some missions would only work after I restarted the console and the app itself.
