Dead Rising 3 latest vid just got me very interested in the game.

I love it.

Only just got the garage but already found so much to investigate. Easily the best of the series. Staggering how many zombies there are.

Was scary as hell at the start with my headset on.
 
Do you still venture out to bring survivors back to a safe house though? That was what DR was alway about for me, you find out so and so is stuck in so and so place, your mission is to get them back to the safe house... Loved it so much, but I just can't see any evidence of that in this game?

I dont think scary and dead rising have ever been mentioned at the same time before.

Comical yes, but scary....?

Yes you do. Unfortunately the survivors I've picked up have all died so far :)
 
Its a really good game and using my surface pro and the smartglass features are enhancing my enjoyment even more. I have it on my lap and I can take phone calls and get extra missions from it while I'm running about. The graphics are not amazing however considering there are thousands of zombies that all look different, its impressive. So glad I chose this instead of ryse with my day one Xbox

Get the van and park it in front of the entrance at the side then climb on the van.

Probably already done it now though.

I love this game. The zombies that crawl after you when you chop them in half are fantastic. It's amazing just wondering around finding stuff/people.

Anyone know how you rescue survivors and get them to stop following you? Ravi is following me everywhere.
 
Love this, seems like quite a lot of play time in it as well.

It's also surprisingly scary, driving through streets in the dark and your car gives up? Actually surprisingly scary with the hundreds of zombies around you. Closed spaces in the dark are pretty bad as well (like the sewers)
 
The first time I went in the sewer I just had my combat axe/games console combo weapon...it didn't last......I had to blast my way through with a shotgun.

This is easily the best in the series, the sillyness is still there, but they've added more of the 'zombie atmosphere'.

Glad I'm not the onyl who finds some of it scary. :D

I love it, but I knew I would, so glad I got an XB1 for it.
 
Seems that the general consensus on this is its good, my PS4 turns up next week, and I will be getting a Xbone... So I may have to get one sooner rather than later so I can play this. Love DR 1 and 2 so much, so hopefully it has that DR feel to it still.
 
It's very good so far. Never liked the original games but finding this a big step up. The zombie walk-through area right near the start is scary...the number of them and their noises!
 
Had a play with this on a mate's one at the weekend, although I've got PS4 pre-ordered was very impressed with it, the sheer number of zombies on screen at an one time, added to the fact they seem to come from everywhere (crawling out of vents, falling off roof's) is insane, you feel like you will get swamped at any minute, and just the sheer lunacy of the weapons you can create (mini chainsaws is my favourite so far). First DR game I’ve played so cannot comment on how it compares to the others, but almost makes me want a XB1 :D
