the trick is to always have 1 spare for those pesky locked rooms...there is a schematic for the nodes so you can purchase them, you just have to find it!

Yeah a lot of the good schematics are in those rooms, plus you should always open them as you get at least 10K's worth of gear in there every time, so worst case scenario you can sell the stuff you get to get your power node back.

I've not even bothered equipping a single node yet on anything and I'm on level 6, near the end. What do you reckon would be the best 4 weapons for a zealot run.

I'm thinking Plasma , Line gun and what two others?

I liked the detonator gun. You can plant up to 5 mines willy nilly and then pick them all up again if they don't go off.

Ch 1-7 are pretty easy, the remaining chapters really ramp up the difficulty, so you will certainly want to get your suit HP up.

As for zealot run i'll prolly say Plasma, Javelin, Seeker, and then either Flame/Line/Detonator would be good.

I always find the Force and Pulse Rifle to be pretty poor, and the Contact beam is way to expensive to run.

I don't like the javelin I find it very slow. I used the pulse rifle a fair bit in DS1 but haven't tried it yet on this.

The decompression achievement does this stack to game+?
I missed killing all 6 on one of the windows, I only got 5.

Just started chapter 5 still liking it allot though hated the stalker things i didnt find the detonator gun schematic so i had to lure them and quickly freeze em

Seeker Rifle. I've just maxed it out(using the node glitch) and it's seriously powerful. Kills most enemies in one or 2 hits,regardless of where you hit them. I'm not sure what it will be like on the black necromorphs however :confused:

Did you do it from zealot from the start? I managed to do it in the end but glitched it a little to gain some extra credits!

95% of the achievements done now, onto hardcore at the weekend!

Just got to Chapter 10.. and I'm very happy with what they have done after the Tram ride..

Saved it prior to going any further as was tired... I want to fully appreciate what might happen!

Gonna start Zealot this weekend.. and not sure about hardcore.. but I might regret it if I don't do it lol

Got 47/50 achievements now.

Only missing:

Zealot
Hardcore
Shooting all the things on the lift to the solar array (got a save point here so I can go back and do it).

Currently going through Zealot mode, not having any problems so far, got to Ch6 in 2hrs last night.

Though I am rocking the Advanced Elite Suit, and 4 maxed weapons, and a metric ton of ammo I carried across

Apparently continuously using the Contact beams alt fire in the lift is the easiest way to get the lift achievement done

Stand in the center and spam away lol

The guide I read was using the detonator, I will create a save point and come back to it later if I miss it.

Got the elevator one first try.

Detonator upgraded capacity and reload time one node each. Controller sensitivity whacked up to 7 so you can spin round really fast.

Job done.

Up to chapter 13 on Zealot now. Not impossible but you definitely need plenty of ammo and health and need to use stasis and kinesis a lot.

I don't see how Hardcore is even possible with only 3 saves and no checkpoints :eek:

Yep a secret achieve, level 7 as you go up in the lift you get attacked from all sides. You have to knock all the tripods off.
