There's a level 5 suit you can get which has 20% Armour somewhere in the mines. If I recall correctly, somewhere hear the stor? Don't quote me on that. If you've got lots of cedits, then complete the game and you might get a lovely prize :D
 
Can we all agree not to post info about the game or later levels plz, so not to spoil any 'suprises' or ruin the story ...

use a Spoiler tag and change the font colour if talking specifics, cheers
 
I can't play this game more than 10-15mins, I think it's the medication I'm on, makes me nausious, same with farcry 2, I think any game.

:(

Taking a small break then it's back to mushing baddies!

PS Must say, really good game, polished, audio is spot on, sounds effects etc :)

I am thoroughly enjoying this, although i am a little bit annoyed with some of the "cheap deaths" it springs on you, I think I've been killed twice by being overwhelmed by necromorphs and not being able to use a med kit fast enough, and about 20 times by things I dont really have any control over. this is by the end of chapter 5.
 
I have no problems with the pc controls , damn easy to use... I actually found it very difficult using the gamepad controller , only thing i did was make sure mouse sensitivity was on full.

Yup i have to agree, after my earlier rant i went back in and played for longer with v-sync off, and its just as bad. In aiming mode it almost seems like there a dead space on the screen where you cant aim, its ridiculous.

Im totally fine with waiting untill they fix it via patch, i dont want to ruin the game for myself by trying to play this current pile of ****.
 
Can't see why some are having such a problem , i play with Vsync on forced in CP and off in game with mouse sens on max.
 
because I cant map forward back left right to arrow keys I have never used wasd keys in my life cant stand em.

Im suprised at some of the comments, people bringing this game down about such tiny faults like not being able to remap, im sure it will get patched out. as for the mouse lag issue, yea, that is annoying, seems all recent games that are also released on console at the same time have the console aim touch... where the slower you move the mouse the slower the aiming, its for joysticks, really anoying :( hopefully that will be patched out

Going back to the gameplay now.

I've unlocked Impossible and just watch out; the Necromorphs are a wee bit harder to kill now.

Example:

On Easy, I could quite happily shoot the legs off them and they'd be dead 9 times out of 10. 1 time out of 10 they'd crawl towards you.

On Impossible, you shoot their legs, they use their sythes to crawl towards you, every now and again leaping towards you. If you shoot one of their sythes off, they use the one free one to crawl towards you. Ugh creepy stuff. Also, you aren't as well protected anymore. One swipe takes off 1/4 of your health (using the MkI Suit)

Haven'y noticed anything else different. All ammo drops are the same, and crates still hold most of the goodies. Just started Chapter 1, although, I may wait until I get my Sennheiser 595's and turn them up :D
