i am at the part when i have collected the bioligical weapon , and i am trying to get to the chemical lab to collect a tissue sample , in the room after the guy talks to you , there are the huge 2 thing that keep regenerating , and a locked door with a busted power pack beside it , how the hell do i get it to open , tried shooting the door , and power cell , and tried kinesis to , but i keep getting slaughtered ?

Is this at the part just after the Uber-Necromorph gets releaced from it's glass cylinder?

if i remember correctly i think you have to take out the regenerating bosses enough times ad the other aliens, before your buddy will tell you that shes unlocked the route for you, i use the contact gun on its alt fire mode to use that burst wave to take the legs out of them.

Yup, that's right. Found that part a royal-pain-in-the-butt. Guess it adds to the atmosphere and experience; reloading frantically while he's regenerating right infront of you. Scary stuff!

As you cant kill the regen bosses I just slow them using the time stasis ability and then kill the other monsters. Once you've killed the others the door will unlock, this situation happens again later on. Bloody annoying in tight spaces

dead space is probably the only game worth buying among all these overhyped crap ( far cry 2, fallout 3 etc) coming out this month.

I'm gonna install this later, but I only have my laptop at the moment and no mouse! Will be torture with the touch pad but curious to see how well it'll run on my HD 3200.

Well I've installed this today and it seems good, much more worth my time than FC2!

However, I seem to be suffering from mouse lag.. This has probably already been covered in this thread, but I'm too lazy to look through 7 pages. So is there a solution for this or is it just me?

Nope, I've got an 8600GT on my lappy and a 280 on my main PC.

Turn off Vsync in game and then force it on in the Nvidia control panel - sorted. I aways choose mouse and keyboard over a gamepad for most games but this is one of the few that plays better with a 360 pad.

I have got a 360 controller but I'm no good at aiming with them!

I'll give that vsync a blast and see how it works.. ta!
