I pressed printscreen, however it appears to just keep the one screen in memory, so you have to alt-tab out into paint then paste and save in there...

However I shall look into it a bit more.

Oh yes, I've just started the game, loving it at the moment, controls took a few moments to get the hang of, same with the camera angle...

I also fixed the laggy mouse movement in the menus by disabling v-sync, and enabling triple buffering in the NVidia control panel.

Ive seen this for £18 online, is it a decent port or would i be better off getting it for PS3 for £30?

Looks really good from the demo ive played on PS3.

PC all the way. look from the start of this thread onwards to see why!! PS3 version has FPS issues & some screen tearing as well.

This game is freakin scary when you play on hard, ammo and med's are scarce so you're tip toeing around, stasis-and-run (do this a lot lolz)

Also play in the dark.

Sadly once you've played through, you know where all the things are gonna happen so its not as good anymore..

Nope. Unless you're pretty savvy with a hex editor, in which you might be able to edit the save file to another difficulty.

Yeah I've been looking at the save files...I Just downloaded a save file pack for Hard, so I might load from one of them and carry on...But then I obviously won't have my upgrades etc.

Meh, I'll carry on then...and possibly try it on a harder setting afterwards...I'm actually loving this game so far, didn't think I would enjoy it this much.

im ve just done got to the bit after the 2nd turret section the game has made me jump a few times

, a lot better than i thought it would be , shame it come in the Great flood of great games in this quarter or it would have been shouted about abit more , from what ive seen i hope they make a DS2 ,

Up to around Chapter 2 and a half so far (at a guess). So far though I haven't really been scared once.

Compared to other games like Silent Hills and even certain resident evils I haven't felt really too apprehensive yet while playing.

Still it is early days

Try typing without caps lock on - if you found it to easy then up the difficulty level.

Yeah, I'm sure you won't find the "Impossible" difficulty level easy... you have to unlock that first though!

I am pretty sure that typing in all caps and using short hand (such as 2 when typing to... it is one extra letter for the love of god) is a little frowned upon.

I am playing on medium and finding it not too hard, but then that is fine because mostly playing it for the story and experience. I at early progress though so far in the game, and therefore I can't say if the rest of the game will be this difficulty, or it it will increase on a gradual curve.

Was the mouse movement ever sorted in this ? I remember playing on a friends computer awhile ago and it had some wierd as hell acceleration, aiming was a chore.

Ahhh, there is actually a fix.

Go to Video options, and disable V-Synch. It is a well known problem, and is basically mouse lag.

Scaryness in games is a really wierd thing. I mean in doom 3 I didn't even jump, same with Bioshock, silent hill I felt fine for the first 30mins of playing then suddenly starting getting increasingly tense building up to quiet terror! With Deadspace the atmostphere dosen't really scare me much at all, but when you suddenly see a monster drop down in front of you, you hear another behind you then suddenly one charges I literally scream out loud! It is just terrifying!!
