Deadpool 3 - Coming 2024

Re: Cameos - the director/RR said these were intended to be the final cinematic "send offs" for actors/Characters that the fans/the actors etc didn't think got the proper send-off they deserved (Blade/Electra) or died in production hell and never got a film (Gambit) or were just done for a laugh (Jonny Storm) etc.

Now I did my second viewing my thoughts changed a bit.

There were loads of one liners I missed 1st time round, some food, some bad, but the cinema doesn't go e you the luxury to pause and listen again! A few parts of the story made more sense, but overall the plot is weak and ruined by 4th wall stuff.

Hugh Jackman's lines and parts are even better second time round. BUT , watching some of the bad Deadpool /RR jokes a second time round cancels that out. I also enjoyed the 4 big cameos much more 2nd time round (blade, x23,gambit and elektra).

I never really understood or enjoyed the 4th wall stuff, and I think nearly all his jokes fall in that category.

7/10 is probably a fair rating.

I don't really want anymore Deadpool in the MCU, I don't think anything new can be done with him in a 4th film.

More Wolverine and X23 however, could be really good.

Didn’t really enjoy it, I think I’ve had my fill of Marvel films. Anything with the TVA in just brings them down.

Deadpool 1 was enjoyable as it was relatively fresh, but now it’s just a bit tedious and a lot of it didn’t land for me, humour-wise.

Thought it was pretty rubbish and not a patch on the first two. There were a few good scenes but overall it was just the usual "lets do what made the other films popular but dial it up to 11". The gay jokes were just far too frequent and blunt and the crudeness of so many of deadpools jokes meant they weren't funny.

5/10 if that. Very underwhelming.

Really enjoyed DP 1. But can't watch stuff like this more than once as it loses impact.
2 was OK.
But I'm still too marveled out to see this.

Probably watch on streaming at some point.. maybe

I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was 100% fan-service, but as a big nerd that worked for me :D

"Flame on!" got a MASSIVE lol from me and the missus

Height-accurate Logan

Cavillrine

Channing's Gambit, I remember originally being against it back when the idea was originally floated all those years ago, but this was great fun, especially the jabs at his accent and surprisingly decent fight scene

Nicepool's attempt at the 4th Wall Break with "The Proposal"

Deadpool Corps

Logan fully masking up

I saw this last night...really enjoyed it, but for sure there wasn't a plot worth a damn, it wasn't one of those films that if you went to the loo for 2 minutes you missed a vital plot moment.

The gambler guy....I recall seeing him somewhere before but can't remember where...was it daredevil ?

Enjoyed many of the cameos, REALLY funny with the Capt America/Johnny flame mixed up...loved that... I'm guessing snipes didn't do too much action stuff, garner was still at it though :)
