Make multiplayer gaming free and all the rest of the stuff chargeable, that's the way it should be. Even if they charge an extra 50 MSP for expansion packs etc to cover the costs, although they must be marginal.
Aint MS working on a new 'Live' or something? Maybe it'll be free? or cheaper, I don't mind which.![]()
Microsoft= GREED.
There are stacks of entrepreneurs and big businesses who do quite nicely by giving an excellent service for a good value product.I cant help but think if you knew anything about Microsoft or business you would understand its entrepreneurial beginnings and its development of a demand unlike anything before it.
But if you make greed synonymous with those facets, then yes, greedy.. just like all businesses and the capitalist western world.
You seen it since last update? The Marketplace is well easier to navigate around.
Dear Microsoft,
Thanks for the great gaming I have had over the last 2+ years, I have spent many nights online with my friends on GoW, PES6, PGR 3/4, Halo 3, COD4, FIFA 08. Keep making great games.

Slimey!?
Just wanted to show direct contrast to OP, not my fault I'm happy![]()
Oh I see what you mean.. I never had XBL on my original Xbox.I just meant the friends list, it's well clunky sending invites and viewing messages IMO, on the original Xbox every game had it's own friends list (universal list of course) but they were much quicker at navigating invites and so on.
Halo 2 online was A-MAZING! The friends list and messaging system were spot on, but using the guide on Halo 3 is just annoying.
I don't see why the guide is so slow and clunky, I just want a more basic version that's speedy.

Someone's a bit late to the 360-bashing bandwagon, but I see you've given it a go anyway
My XBox Live service has always been great, and £40 a year is peanuts for what you get from the service. Christ, that's less than it costs to go to the cinema 6 times in a year, and the entertainment value from Live is far greater. I wish people would just stop whining about the XBox and Live now, there's nothing wrong with either. If you want a free, crappy online service, get a sodding PS3 instead!
Indeed, I think it will get even better if he's good enough to explain in detail about 'sonys crappy online service' which he seems to know so much about. I presume he owns a PS3 and has first hand experience? I'm genuinely intrigued to hear how the 'far greater entertainment value' of XBL makes the Sony free offering such a pile of steaming crap.Haha. Irrationality at its finest.
