They were connection issues of course, but the performance after getting to connect was awful. I don't know if different ISP's made matters worse or anything though but mine did improve sooner than a few of my mates 20 miles away.

If indeed you do make a next generation console. Discard all your hardware engineers for the shambles that they created, but keep all your software engineers as they've done a splendid job. Listen to advice from other territories and if the RROD hasn't killed you out of the console market competely, then please oh please spend a little more time testing the hardware before a global launch.
Oh and it may help if you add a bit of asthetic style to your console. Who knows it may even sell in Japan ! nudge nugde wink wink....

It's called Critisism. I don't think anyone is out right hating microsoft, but they definately need fix certain things don't they? And this thread, Is a collection of the things that need their attention.
Go make a Sony one, and post what you hate in there. I'm sure no one would care. It's not hurting. Go make A Wii one infact, because i'm sure that's more interesting than both PS3 and 360, considering all they did was change the controller

I'll happily defend Microsoft for their efforts in the software and signing exclusives.
Too many fanboys defending the actual hardware if you ask me.. if people had gone out and purchased a car that had to be replaced five times there would be uproar!
Also last time I looked this was a forum for discussion.. To discuss a difference in opinion. Not all to agree on the same.. Don't like it, then don't participate...

Ah, now that I've read it again yes I see. I hardly play over XBL anymore so wouldn't know. I would like to see dedicated servers though. Dashboard performance still sucks donkey balls half the time though
You seen it since last update? The Marketplace is well easier to navigate around.
All I tend to see is the spinning 360 hourglass. Even as I type this I can't connect to live for some daft reason.

Make multiplayer gaming free and all the rest of the stuff chargeable, that's the way it should be. Even if they charge an extra 50 MSP for expansion packs etc to cover the costs, although they must be marginal.
