*** Death Stranding 2 *** (Please use spoiler tags)

Finished it today.

As with DS1, I'm not sure I loved it but something kept me playing, both were very addictive. Some of the back tracking missions when the DHV was out of action were a pain.

Loved the insane story and the ending.

Yeah it was utterly bonkers but was a little predictable.. I still cant believe there is no trophy for laying and upgrading all the roads.. I do like the bits though when you have the q-pid on in the endgame to do a certain set of deliveries and they will randomly appear for a road battle.

Yeah I agree with you here. Looking back on it I can't say that it was amazing - but... it kept me going for 150 hours without ever really getting bored.

Really enjoyed it, but the last couple of trophies are a grind. Can't seem to find any more elimination missions and getting 5 star on all facilities.....

Bah, I'm still on chapter 8 after 30+ hours. Trying to grind the silenced sniper rifle but I'll be damned finding any orders for him and after 4 stars, any lost cargo is just a trickle of likes.

Gotta love the easter eggs….CHVRCHES running the animal shelter. Still plodding through but taking my time on all the roads and stuff.

I can maybe help here.

Go to the menu and chose orders then chose the end point for the delivery to be at the Lone Commander then go and do their deliveries over and over. Unfortunately the road that is close to his place is very expensive to build in the early game so i would suggest getting loaded up with Blood Grenades (Preferable V2) and then take all the BTs out in the area (Especially the Gazers). That will clear the area for a while leaving you to do deliveries in that areas without having to constantly battle them.

Its a great bit of kit but i find i often take down a enemy with the rifle but someone else sees him and revives him or that a load of the enemies, even in early game, have helmets and take 2 shots to the head to take down and by that time they have alerted others.

Hmm. I never knew you could filter on endpoint for deliveries in the standard menu outside of actually being at a settlement terminal. There is so much this game either doesn't tell you or is buried in endless text within the corpus!

I do have lvl2 grenades, so may try this out but I generally just zoom through BT areas on a tricycle. Also now focusing in the Data analyst to get the silenced assault rifle. Still enjoying the game and on chapter 9 now. No idea how far or near I am to the end game but the map is now 75%+ cleared.

I will hopefully have the platinum on this tonight. The last few deliveries are a bit of a grind (Particularly Mr Impossible(Very Tough last challenge unless you cheese it), The Adventurer and the Eastern Environmental Observatory) but I have all but one, maybe 2 for the Adventurer left and a couple of other missions to do which should be simple enough.

Its been good blast with about 115 hours but time to get onto something else.

One challenge left to get the platinum.. Its a right pain to do the elimination/destruction challenges as there are only a few of each and some dont show unless you do certain other orders. Oh and waiting for them to refresh is also a flipping long time as well.

I'm still plugging away with this and on chapter 11.
I'm still none the wiser what the point of Neil Vana was or has to the story. Perhaps more will be explained but thus far I've no idea what his episodes / game levels were all about or why they in the places they were or well eh. Unless I missed something, the therapist was the girl he left, and she also provided therapy to Sam at one point in time?!
Hopefully nearing the end now as I'm slowly getting fatigued with the overall story (or lack thereof).

Make sure its the Directors Cut.. Adds a load of QOL updates. Its deffo a marmite game it can be VERY weird and confusing (Kojima) but once it clicks and you get into it it can keep you hooked till you have put 150h into it. lol
