I'm thinking of debadging my T5, but can't decide. Has anyone done this to their car? I'd be curious to know your reasons for doing it.

I'll try and get an image later for some opinions.

Peoples reasons vary loads, from wanting cleaner lines on the back to wanting to cover up that they have a bottom of a range model :)

Post a pic of the back of your car and let someone 'shop it, then just make up your own mind.

I. Misread the title, thought it said de-bagging. I was about to give a funny story about when it happened to me.

There's either the "Don't want people to know I bought a 316" crowd, the "Don't want people to know I spent £££ on a M5, they'll just think it's a 5xx M-Sport" crowd and then the "It looks nicer" crowd.

I'd only do it for the latter.

Car in question.

It makes no difference to me.

I once accidentally de-badged a Civic once, pressure washer over Civic sticker did the trick :o :p

I'd consider taking off the model badges but i'd leave the volvo badge, as it would look smarter with the brand badge only, similar to the bmw/mercedes option. Removing the brand badging reminds me too much of those corsas/puntos i see with a blank back end with a noisy bean tin.

I had to remove the badges from the back of my 900, but it was due to the loss of the silvering making them look scruffy. (i don't miss them much now)
