Decent game controller?

A fiver for a set of 50 of those exact size orings, nice should be here tomorrow. If it sorts the dpad creaking then that's great I will just keep using it!

Ordered the orings, a fiver!

any chance repair existing one as well or not possible?
Without soldering skills I doubt it, the switches are Kailh mouse switches so easy to do, but you'd need soldering kit!

Exactly what I've just done. Will also see if it works on Cyclone 2.

Gotta say though, am liking how the module based HE stick calibration has held up on the Phantom

Correct, you can install HE sticks on a stock DS but then there's the whole faff involved that comes with that. It's a great controller once "fixed", though, but not £200+ great even with the extra features/accessories it comes with but in this format using official Sony internals no other third party is doing it cheaper it seems, which I guess explains the pricing. The plastics are the same as Sony DS/DSE as well but with improved grip/stick caps.

I completely forgot I have that Defender Crush too! Think it must be in a drawer.
Not used pad much lately but DS5 was my go to as I like the weight etc more than the Crush, and it’s not got any stick drift yet thanks to little use.
I find the Switch Pro controller the most comfy but not seen if it works on pc.

I bought so many new controllers last year to the point I had to give away the 8bitdo ultimate to my nieces since I can only use so many! Are these newer ones any NOTICEBLE improvements over the Cyclone 2?

O-rings installed, has an improvement, still a little sticky using the cross-cap but it's much better than without them.

I also managed to crack my fascia:

Which I managed to fix using a Sharpie lol
