What is the best option for an Xbox/PC compatible Wired controller these days? Preferably an XBox rather than PS layout.

I can think of about 14 reasons for the Cyclone 2Why you'd want wired over wireless would be beyond me, though.![]()
Cheers, thats what i thought. It's not for me, my daughters boyfriend doesnt like wireless controllers for some odd reason!
I own Cyclone 2 (Xbox), Gamesir G7 Pro, Tarantula Pro (PS Style). All 3 are excellent.Any recommendations for a wireless game controller for PC?
Or repair it?So my 8bitdo Ultimate (purchased 2nd hand originally) has had the fabled issue of sharp plastic cutting into the membrane of the right trigger. I am temporarily using a Nintendo Pro controller on my PC and it's sent my muscle memory bonkers. Question is do I struggle a long for a bit and wait for the new steam controller or do pull the trigger in Gamesir G7 Pro.
PC is a Bazzite Steam Deck based build not windows, which makes me feel I should wait!
Ditto, plus the Gulikit King Kong 3 Max (my son loves this for Rocket League) and my daughters each have the EasySMX D10 (for under £25 it's pretty decent).I own Cyclone 2 (Xbox), Gamesir G7 Pro, Tarantula Pro (PS Style). All 3 are excellent.
Morning All, I'm toying with the idea of a new game pad for use on Steamdeck and laptop/PC. I prefer the PS4/PS5 shape. What's recommended for that? Just use an old PS4 controller with back buttons or something like an 8bitdo Pro 3?

If you already have a PS4 controller I’d just use that personally. DualSense come up on offer often for 35-40 and some pc games support the haptics (though I’m not sure if they do on wireless)
That looks interesting! I'll check it out.![]()

@mrk speaks highly of it, but I don't know of another DS4-styled controller that matches the features of newer controllers such as the G7 Pro...I do already have a PS4 controller with back button attachement and PS5 controllers but wanted to see if there was possibly something better suited.
