Hello all,

This will probably sound like a sad question but im after a decent pen :)

Fed up of relying and being let down by cr@ppie Bics.

Pen will not be used to write huge ammounts - stuff like notes/signing.

Im clueless on this subject so what are the better makes to look out for? Also how exactly does a foutain and biro differ?

Have a £50 budget :)

Thanks,

Blimey, I find the good old Bic biro does the job. I guess if you want to get all fancy get a Parker of some type?

i have a cross pen, and really like it.

Personally i find biros make my writing look terrible, and i find a fountain pen much easier to use, though for convenience i use a biro a lot of the time these days.

Look for Pilot pens, £50 will get you a fine range, best pens I've ever used.

Pilot are nice, I use them at work. My hand-writing is terrible, but the Pilots manage to make it readable :)
Me too. I hate using normal ballpoints, and it shows, but Pilots seem to neaten things up considerably.

I can't for the life of me write with a bic/rollerball.

I use £8 Parkers from WHSmiths, they're weighty enough and fine for a pen I suppose

Just get a fountain pen and see if you like it.

Pilot pens without a doubt.
