You wont spend £50 on a pen? :p

My main PC is an 1800+ with a gig of PC2100, a GF4 MX440 and about half a Tb of hard drives.

...I still buy decent pens and so on though...

Buy a Cross.

Someone bought me a fisher space pen for a Birthday. Didn't think much of it at the time but its really good. Small enough to fit in pocket and it writes in anti-gravity (tested by space people).

...So will a pencil.

a pencil won't have as satisfactory results on as many surfaces ;)
It does on paper though, and that's why I use a mechanical drawing pencil for most of my scribbles at work. It has a rubber and everything

To be honest I always use a pencil, though it hasn't got an attached eraser :(

But for a decent pen, if *** space pen is good enough for U.S. Shuttle missions its good enough for me (though it would probably backfire squirt all friendlies with ink...)

I use a Fisher space pen. Its reasonably priced, reliable, has fast drying ink (so being left handed I don't smudge everything I write) and I'm not going to worry if it gets lost or broken.

Get one of these :D
