Define Posh

classy: elegant and fashionable; "classy clothes"; "a classy dame"; "a posh restaurant"; "a swish pastry shop on the Rue du Bac"- Julia Child

- They speak properly. Not like commoners
- They dress properly. Not like commoners - Ralph Lauren, Columbia, Northface, Dockers, J Crew, Sperry Side toppers etc.
- They have proper cars - (Cars that don't cost less then 30k) - BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Range Rover etc
- They have a proper house - Not like commoners in a 2 bed semi.

I can trump that:

"You know whats the worst thing about having a chauffeur? He always tells daddy where I'm going "

I have had the unfortunate experience of wandering into the toilets of a club in Edinburgh and overhearing two young faux-posh gentlemen bragging about how many BMWs their dads owned. There was so much wrong with that I finished my drink and left, thankfully I've never revisited the club.

The problem is you've replaced "posh" with "proper" easily as debatable in this case as "posh".

My friend once shared a taxi with two young men to a hall of residence, only to hear a tongue in cheek argument about whether a continental Europe or British butler was superior.

Whilst popping into Harvey Nichols for a good laugh I heard the following conversation:

"£90 for a t-shirt, you have more money than sense"
"I know. That's my problem"

At least I can see an amusing side to those examples :D

How did you ever get ban rights...?

My idea of posh is those overly metrosexual people in their mid-20's that hang out spending all their mummy and daddies money with their shirt collars stuck up etc etc in expensive bars

Who knows thought its really subjective! to some people i might be posh :o
