lol - what a load of crap - people will believe anything these days.

hundreds of years of science and understanding - what a waste of time that was........ :(

and kids are still taught that centuries ago people thought the world was flat...

what is 2.4ghz?

sorry but the one set frequency will not work on all glasses, as they are all unique in molecular structure and the harmonics of each will differ. i dont know how much, because the shape and material type is the same, but it will differ.

He means 2.4GHz is the frequency that disrupts water molocules as its the frequency microwaves run at which basicly just boil water in food

and yet pretty much everyone thought it was a sphere - after the 1st century at least. ( i bet you could have found some people on an internet forum that still thought it was flat though ;) )

Can't believe everyone is debating this but hasn't actually seen Master Sasaki in action.

So here is the man in question:

Kiaia...

I've seen some pretty amazing things while doing martial arts so I always keep an open mind.....I would love him to do this on me so I would know for sure.

And btw...Kung Fu noises in movies are fake and PURELY for the films. Watch Bruce Lee train...he NEVER makes those chicken sounds.

I would say he did with some controlled exhale noises.

You can disorientate with just a open hand flashed to the face without hitting the target. Just the unexpected shock of it is enough.

thats microwaves BOILING water. the technique used by the chap who can stun people, does just that, stun them. not boil their insides. he is simply hitting a frequency which "shocks" the water inside the body.

lol - was that a comedy? - i've seen much more convincing magicians - this is no different.

the chap in that video is basically doing "extreme" kiai.

very few, if anyone, can use it the way he does.

the main principles for kiai is to learn to breath properly, and in some of the MA's, used to help disorientate the opponent.

if you dont believe that chaps abilities, fair enough. but kiai is real and works.

Hmm

That video wasn't the most convincing.

The guy slams his foot down each time the bell rings, so how do you know it's his voice causing it.

Cool skill if it's real though.

Erm, 2.4Ghz is the natural frequency of water. It makes it resonate. You make it resonate enough true, it heats up.

water absorbs lots of different frequencies (not just 2.4ghz), but even if a person was capable of generating any of those frequencies (which they aren't!), they would have ZERO effect on a person, and you would need a very sophisticated machine to detect any absorption by the water.

O Rly? I demand proof of you putting your head in the microwave for a minute (it has to be on).

sure, if you generate a kilowatt worth of energy, but that is of course impossible for a person - so even if a person can generate the frequency (a scientific impossibility) there is no way they would be able to output enough energy to have an effect.

from what ive been told, its basically when you are fighting with some one and if you were to shout stuff at them this ki-hai.

It would distract them giving you an obvious advantage. Imagine if you were fightin and someone was shouting at you, of course it would distract you.

Its been said before and I will say it again. I hate martial arts threads. People get all pompous and righteous about what they know and what they can do.

The guy on Mind Body and Kick Ass Moves had been practising his Ki-ai for most of his life, but it wasnt him that could kill small birds, it was his master.

Chi/Ki/etc needs to be seen to be believed imo.

wrong. the samurai lord that could apparently kill small birds was not the master of the kiai master on MD&KAM.

So, in your opinion, is everything already fully explained and understood? Is there nothing left to discover? Is science a perfect descriptive language for any and all possible events and situations?

Or do you simply like acting like a fundamentalist in your attitude?
