You sure it shipped m8, when I checked our stock earlier none had shipped and nor should they. So if it don't arrive tomorrow don't be too surprised as they are ***supposed*** to be in quarrantine and I shall investigate further tomorrow.
Will they ship tomorrow for Thursday? Or Thursday for Friday?

I believe OcUK is the only UK company with stock as well for launch day too.

Actually checked my tracking page and the goods are on their way to their delivery branch!
So glad I ordered during the small window we had! i get about the same fps with my 2900 at 1680x1050, everything on HIGH...

I can only see AM2. I'd not be surprised if AMD kept it all in house as a selling point since 4x crossfire sounds mighty impressive.
Good to hear its not throttled also

Well that's just annoying. I have the money, however i'm reluctant to drop the cash without seeing some rock solid benchmarks.
I want to know i'm getting at least a reasonable boost over my 2900XT, otherwise i'll hang on for an 8800GT, or maybe one of the new GTS/GTX models.

In all honesty an HD 3870 or 8800 GT is not hugely quicker than a 2900XT, not much in it at all to be honest. If you want a good boost then get an 8800 GTX or wait until the new high-end stuff in Jan/Feb.

Im just "upgrading" in terms of quieter and less power! Plus I will be crossfiring no doubt and that means I dont have to get a new PSU to do that!

What are we talking about again.....
Ive just been told a a Mr. 'X' who works at OcUK that all HD 38xx series cards have spontaneously combusted into a ton a grated apple peelings.
So im guessing yours will not be shipping tomorrow.

I thought it was 8800GT's that fried while you were just looking at it in the box.
Well I'm willing to ditch my 8800GTS 320MB in favour of a cooler harder overclocking card i.e the 3870, even if it's only 15% faster that will be alright by me - my GTS just about handles everything I throw at it currently so a bit more poke will be grand.
Also I take it if OcUK are shipping tomorrow we will see the cards BACK on the website tomorrow? Else how are they going to ship if no one can see them to order them!
