Same, keep tabs on my money myself, I know what is what, just have a quick scan through to make sure nothing is out of place once a month.

Indeed .... but it doesn't need to be that complex to start stressing the spreadsheet approach to the limits. Personally, I'd prefer the Quicken/MS Money approach ..... PROVIDING the user has the willpower to keep them regularly updated. If not, it's a complete waste of time.Desmo said:Well yeah. Excel spreadsheet with Date, Money In, Money Out, Total, Description.
I've used this for a lot of years now.
