Don't buy this monitor unless you really want to take the risk. I thought DELL would have amazing quality control, but so far the first monitor had 3 dead pixels and BLB, the second had 7 dead pixels, the third had a very, very strange bright spot (we're talking like someone was shining a small 2cm diameter torch through the screen) and the fourth - yes, fourth Amazon replacement in a row - has a fine but long scratch on the screen coating causing a the light passing through it to have a rainbow shimmer effect if you move your head.
Not sure if I should just give up or go with one last Amazon replacement. I'm scared they will ban my account for too many returns, but I do give them DELL incident numbers hoping that allows them to claim from DELL themselves for the loss of money
All four monitors build date November 2015 in Germany.
Think I'm going to get one more replacement, and then call it a day with Dell. I just wish there was a good Gsync IPS out there to buy instead -- maybe I should go Ultra Wide as well.
shows how lucky those of are who got a mint one first time round. Absolutely love mine
I did... For £99...
I know, insert the hate.
I've returned mine today.
Loved 144hz, 1440p and Gsync, but the vertical pixel inversion was a deal breaker for me.
It's a shame, because apart from the one issue it's a brilliant monitor.

Fifth replacement arrived from Amazon. Same November 2015 production date in Germany.
LMFAO, because you just have to laugh to stop yourself from crying. VERY loud buzzing - can hear it well over my R4 Define x3 Noctua A14 Fans even at 12v.
Buzzing occurs whenever the brightnes is below EXACTLY 76/100.
Sixth replacement requested. Wonder how long until an Amazon 'account specialist' will contact me for my return rate, but I'm so angry that I just can't let it go.
I don't understand bad batches in things like monitors. If we're talking about a factory making yoghurt, then fine, but surely a piece of technology is different?
