Ouch Miralda hits hard, she killed me so I went and freed Ostrava and went back to try again and she wasnt there ?
Then I fell down the pit, so I go back to get my body and fell down the pit again lol.
Miralda (body form) only appears in a pure white tendancy of the world which currently is being created by the xmas event which is why she was around in the first place. When you died to her i'm assuming you was in body form and the death dropped the world tendancy to just below pure white and hence she won't be around until you put it back to pure white.
Also if you don't like the firebombs (i can't throw them accurately at all) use the turpentine for phalanx it is really good fun with turpentine and a big sword just watching all the blobs die in a swarm of fire.
I'd reccomend holding onto the turpentine and sticky white stuff for pretty much all the bosses if you plan to melee as none of them are really resistant to fire or magic.
Can you go back to nexus anytime to spend your souls or is there set times to go back .
Dont like losing all these souls everytime
Clicking on the archstones (the shining sword thing) which you appear in the world from will send you back to the nexus.
There are a few rare stones you might find which do the same thing. Don't bank on these i think i found a total of 6 in the whole game
Also as mentioned earlier the Evacuate spell will send you straight back.
I didn't bother with any spells at all throughout the whole game i mainly just ate grass and that was it for items, so i always just headed back to click the archstone every time i needed to go to the nexus to use the souls. None of the levels are terribly huge to warrant you not running back to the stone before entering a boss. (Except maybe the 2nd level in valley of defilement, although there is a shortcut there and 2nd level in stonefang tunnel) Since almost every level has a shortcut you can unlock when you do make it to the end.
Finally my biggest reccomendation for anyone new to the game, keep your equipped weight below 50% of max equipped weight and learn to roll. I found it far more effective than having a big sheild since there wasn't a single boss in the game where you couldn't dodge almost all of their attacks by rolling away, while there are many bosses with moves that will crush right through your shield. Also some weapons have nice attacks from the rolling move for easy counterattacks. Only level you can't rely on rolling away from everything and countering is the valley of defilement since theres no room or even worse those sticky horrible horrible swamps. Avoid the trolls with clubs too!
