*** Desk and Room Gallery***

Mine are looking very scratched and have fallen victim to the dreaded headband cracks. Most likely a result of not using a holder.

Is that when you have cracks either side of the headphones that start off small and then gradually get bigger and bigger? Above the ear pieces, I've googled it and it seems a pretty common issue :(

Here's Mine.

in my new house!

Styles sorry for the late reply the desk is custom made by a local guy as I wanted removable legs for when I move house.

it was £250 haggled down from £350 and I gave him the dimensions I wanted
I think most local furniture makers will do the same dealio

I'm currently in the market for a new PC desk but I can't seem to find one that fits what I'm after!

I'm looking for a corner one with a bit of storage space underneath thats in black. I've found some nice ones but none in black!

I've found this one..

http://www.furnitureinfashion.net/product_info.php?products_id=5446

It would be perfect for me but I need it to be black to fit in with my colour scheme.

Anyone got any ideas on places to look?

Excuse the duff compaq keyboard, my son murdered my G15 with a glass of squash - it'll soon be replaced with another G15 :)

The guitar+gear for whoever may be interested :)

Here's a quick photo of my desk as of today as I have had my old monitor wall mounted as an extra, no point it being sat in a cupboard being unused. I ahve had it sat ontop of my case balancing precariously for months and now it's properly mounted and in the right position it's so much nicer to work with. I unplugged and pulled everything out and gave it all a good clean, tidy and reorganise and it's so much better for it now.

Hi BeelzebubUK can you tell me where you got the desk from as thats exactly waht Im looking for Cheers

I had that exact desk a few years ago. I'm 80% sure I got mine for Ikea. Not sure if they will now stock the exact desk, but I'm sure they will have something similar. It is a really nice desk. Good solid build. I sometimes regret reducing it to firewood when I moved home. Pic of it below back in 2003 when I was 14 lol. Only thing I don't like about that pic is my ex girlfriend :P

I got it from Staples but that was about 7 years ago. It was made by an american company called O'Sullivan furniture although as lobwan pointed out it was also sold under a couple of other names.

Unfortunately it looks like they went bust a couple of years ago so your only chance of getting one is if someone has old stock. I was lucky enough to get 2 matching cupboards and 3 matching bookshelves which are all built in the same solid style before they went bust. I think I got those from http://www.furniture123.co.uk but can't see anything on their site now.

Failing that I'd be happy to send you a copy of the installation instructions if you felt like getting something similar built. Definitely the best desk I've come across but it does take up quite a bit of space.
