*** Desk and Room Gallery***

It's currently sat apart in the garage, might put it together in there again and use it as a little work top, that toughened glass is surprisingly strong! If not I'll stick a local advert in for it, get a few quid for it at least ;)

It is from IKEA indeed. The top, three "cabinets", the one leg and the cable trench came to about £150 including the ridiculous £35 delivery charge, so all in all not too bad.

They have got quite a few other colours on their site, but for the size I wanted I was a little restricted - not all the colours are available in all the sizes, which was rather annoying as I wanted to go for a different colour scheme originally!!

How muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It would have been cheaper gettin kitchen bench + legs/wall brackets + under shelving/storage!

then it would look like a kitchen !

a desk is important of blending in with your room and surrounding's.

if you have your pc in the kitchen then buy a work top :D

Actually already looked down that route, and believe me, it's not cheap.

You try finding a solid wood worktop that's at least two metres long and doesn't cost a bomb :p

How much is a bomb? Think I mentioned in here before that I bought my solid oak worktops for my kitchen at around £100 for 3 meter lengths. Got them brand new from the bay.

I sold my 775 desktop for 775 laptop for portability. I don't need to be on a desk, however I did my own desk out of sparkling kitchen bench. Cost me £60 for 3mtr but only used 1mtr. Had it cut there and then to my measurements. The side wood batterns cost me £2.00 each from local wood store. 2 hours later wallaaaaa. Basically a little corner bench withbar stool for if I do need to be at a desk. Sorry don't have pics.

Thanks guys :)
Yeah the Fredrik desks are brilliant, would've prefered the Jerker though i think.

Cerwin Vega! Indeed they are :)

Sorry for the bad pictures, used a shoddy camera.

Rossi you've just given me a great idea! I've got the same desk but I've got two of the smaller surfaces at the top, going to have to copy your idea and move one down for the screen! :P
